Cristina has been working in the media space since graduating from Rutgers University in 2014 with a BA in Public Relations. Cristina has worked with brands of all sizes from household names like Friskies and Capital One, to mom & pop shops like her grandfather’s deli, Nino Jr.’s. After spending a great deal of time doing traditional PR, Cristina found herself slowly transitioning into roles of a digital nature. She first took on social media management roles and slowly moved into social media analysis until an unfortunate layoff. After searching for work and ultimately reentering the workforce, Cristina spent time doing more general marketing management for a local brewery and still maintains work with a local digital marketing agency as a Web Development Team Lead.
Fulcrum is Cristina’s independent passion project, where she can take on brands and services that are a fit for her interests outside of her normal routine. She loves to push boundaries, come up with new ideas, and help new brands and businesses reach their goals.
Up until 2019, Cristina was a commissioned Field Artillery Officer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, making her the first female combat arms officer in the state and one of the first 10 in the entire country. She was one of the first two female combat arms officers to commission out of Rutgers University’s Army ROTC Program.
Cristina holds a Masters of Communication & Media (MCM) from Rutgers University with a focus in healthcare marketing, and aspires to one day teach the next generation of young marketers. In her spare time, she volunteers with New Jersey District of Key Club International as their District Administrator and works with her local Kiwanis Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. She is also a competitive figure skater and coaches private and group classes at the local ice rink. When she’s not skating, volunteering or working, Cristina loves to read and spend time with her Corgi, Sophie.
